Cabada grew up immersed in an artist world. Born in Washington, DC, she is the daughter of artists and gallery owners, from whom she learned the business of art and authenticity. Cabada studied fine art at VCU in Richmond, Virginia yet considers herself a self-taught painter.
I first find my inspiration, my muse, my vision. Using light, movement and unique color combinations, I create vibrant or subtle color palettes. My women portray vivid narratives and often represent a characteristic of myself. They radiate vulnerability, innocence, playfulness or confidence. My abstracts are bold with color and life and my "littles" satisfy my whimsical artful side with abundant personality in each tiny creation.
Cabada lives and loves in Arlington, Virginia with her husband Joe, kids, Hannah and Jake and best dog ever, Bear.
